Toriel is the queen of the Underground and a major character encountered in TS!Underswap.

Main Story

Toriel is brought up by Asgore before his fight, stating her name with great melancholy.

She is later brought up again by Crossbones after his battle, Papyrus seems to dismiss it on his way to edit the movie from Crossbone and Chara's fight.

According to Crossbones/Sans, Asgore and Toriel ruled the Underground together, up until an incident happened that caused Asgore to declare war on humanity, establishing up the Navy and wanting to destroy the barrier. However, when Asgore lost his will to continue, Toriel banished him, not because she agreed with his decisions, but because by the time he lost his will, it was too late. Now, she stays within The City of New, with the Navy and royal guards to ensure that no human dares visit her, as she does not wish to take a life.

• For the time being, Toriel's role in the story and her personality are unknown. Even when typing in her name at the start of the game, the response given are ellipses.
  • However, this could mean that Toriel is quiet and/or shy.
• After she and Asgore went their separate ways, she dropped the Dreemurr surname, and simply goes by "Queen Toriel."
